What to see and do in Vancouver?

Hey everyone - I'll be attending WUGC with my camera and I'm keen to take a couple of days off after the event and trip around to pretty places... I'm looking for recommendations for places that are within easy driving distance (Renting cars there cheap?) or easily accessible by train etc...

In general, what's a good way to get around?

Hi Neil. We'll be adding transportation info (and possibly some tourism info) to the website in the coming months. For now, I can say that within Vancouver you can count on public transport and taxis. For around the Pacific Northwest, a rental car would probably be best, with small car costing about $200/week, plus tax and fuel. Visit Tourism BC for destination ideas.
