World Ultimate & Guts Championship (WUGC) 2008, Communications Team is looking for a Newsletter Graphic Designer to assist with the preparation of a daily newsletter with a circulation of 2,000 to be distributed to the tournament community over a 7 day schedule from August 2 – 9, 2008.

Responsibilities: 

This is an opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience within communications, print media and design and will involve the following responsibilities:

• Finalize the format of the 4 page newsletter document (currently in draft format) with the newsletter editor
• Prepare document daily in conjunction with the Editor for submission to printers by 9pm deadline. On-site field office and laptop with software will be provided for the duration of the project. 2,000 copies of the newsletter will be printed in the evening for delivery the following morning by 7am. Volunteers will be provided for distribution of the newsletter.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign Software is required.

Graphic Design experience is desired or strong working knowledge of InDesign software and interest in graphic design and excellent opportunity to gain further experience in this field.

Commitment: 

: High - Each day of the tournament (2-3 hours- 6 - 8pm) plus some prep time prior to the event to meet with the team and review the newsletter format.
