On-site Accommodations

For those who like to be close to the action, you can stay on-site. We have reserved a large block of rooms at UBC for the tournament, and expect the majority of participants will choose this option. Competitively priced and only a short walk from the fields, these residences are ideal for all attendees.

Your Options

Surrounded by forest and ocean, yet only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver, all units are close to beaches, hiking trails, recreational facilities, and food outlets.

  • Place Vanier Residence – A mixture of single and twin bedrooms, with shared hallway washrooms and floor lounges (24 guests per floor). Floor lounges are located on every other floor and offer seating, TV, fridge, sink and microwave. Buildings are not equipped with elevators. $35/night
  • Totem Park Residence – A mixture of single and twin bedrooms, with shared hallway washrooms and floor lounges (36 guests per floor). Floor lounges offer seating, TV, fridge, sink and microwave. $35/night
  • Ritsumeikan Residence – Single room with single bed in a four-bedroom apartment. Guests share two washrooms, a lounge and kitchen (not equipped with dishes, cookware or TV). $45/night
  • Gage Tower Suites – Suite with six bedrooms (five rooms with single bed, one room with double bed and telephone), in-suite washroom, lounge with TV, and fully-equipped kitchenette. Maximum seven occupants per suite. $50/night

Note: All rates are in Canadian dollars and include tax. Reservations are per bed regardless of the number of beds per room. Bed linens will be provided, but you must bring your own towels and toiletries.

Reservations

Visit UBC Conference Services to reserve your spot. You can book for your entire team, or just for yourself.

A convenient meal-plan is also available. It will be served at Totem Park. You do not select the meal-plan when you reserve your room with UBC -- instead you select it when you register for the tournament.

Note: we have reserved rooms for a few days before and after the tournament (July 30 - August 11). If you wish to arrive before July 30 or depart after August 12, make that request when you book your room, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
